<P align=center>Cat Stevens是英国民谣摇滚的代表人物，1947年7月21日生于伦敦，原名是 Stephen Georgiou,Cat Stevens是一位真正的嬉皮士，他具有一切隐士的特质，能够超然于名利之上：他本是英伦60年代著名的流行偶像，20岁如日中天之际突然神秘退出歌坛，几年后再度出山，却改头换面，玩起了民谣。事业大成之际又断然退出歌坛，开始潜心研究伊斯兰教……</P>
<P align=center>他在七十年代创作了几首颇有影响力的歌曲，如 Peace Train 和 Wild World 。他的作品有别于同时代其他同型歌手，对各国民间音乐都有很深的研究和探索，并将其融入到自己的作品中，同时他还是位发烧大家，非常讲究唱片的录音效果。代表作：Tea For The Tillerman，这是史上最重要的民谣唱片之一。</P> ding thx
